Igus® E-Chain® Cable Carriers are designed to carry, guide and protect moving conduits in dynamic applications between moving points of machinery. Open and enclosed nylon carriers are available in a wide variety of link designs offering easy installation and quick access along any point of the carrier. Open type carriers allow for dirt and debris to pass through and conduit visibility at all times. Enclosed style carriers protect cables and hoses from media such as hot chips and coolants. Maximum surface temperature is 266° F but can withstand hot chips at 1652° F. Available in a variety of inner heights and bend radii. Refer to sizing chart when choosing a cable carrier. Carriers are sold per foot, additional lengths simply snap together with a screwdriver. Mount carriers using nylon mounting brackets sold as sets.
·Economical fixed link design allows for the cables to be fed through.
·Snap open links have a hinged lid that can be opened from either side of the carrier.
·Zipper lids open along the outer radius allowing for easy cable installation.
·Snap through link design allows for the cables to be installed through a split, memory retaining cross bar.
·Enclosed style lids snap open from either side of the carrier.
Sizing information:
Evenly distribute cables and hoses within the carrier.
Allow at least 20% free space within the carrier.
Largest cable or hose OD +10% for height/20% for width.
Strain relief is recommended on both the fixed and moving end.

Calculate Length (CL) of carrier as follows:
S = Total Travel; K = Curve Radius Length
·Fixed End in Center of Travel = CL=S/2+K
·Fixed End is Offset from the Center of Total Travel = CL = S/2+K+Offset inches
·Fixed End is Mounted at the end of travel: CL=S+K
