Brands Under JPW Industries

Here's a list of JPW Industries subsidiaries:

JET Tools

JET Tools, which is owned by JPW Industries, aims to be the epitome of innovation, quality, and service, and the company has worked hard for over 50 years, turning those goals into a reality.

The company was founded in 1958, and by the early 70s, the core of its business were manual chain hoists, and trolleys, though the company started producing electric and air-powered ones towards the end of the 60s. By the early 70s, JET Tools introduced an extensive line of industrial air tools and material handling products.

In the early 80s, metalworking tools became the cornerstone of JET Tools' business, and some five years later, the company launched its first woodworking equipment, rounding out different product categories under a singular brand. During the 90s, the company finally shifted from being an importer of high-quality tools to designing and manufacturing its own lines of products, including hand tools, adhering to the strict standards and highest possible specifications.

WILTON Tools

Wilton Tools was founded as a vise manufacturing company in 1941 by a Czech immigrant, Hugh W. Vogl. The company's revolutionary product was the legendary 40S Machinist Vise, completely encased in high-quality steel housing machined to 0.002-inch tolerances, which prevented wear, and unnatural force exertions.

After nearly going out of business in 1945, the company expanded its line of products in 1950, when the 540- and 900-series machinists clamps were added to the line. By the 1960s, the company became a recognizable brand name and a preferred brand name by 1965.

These days, besides producing vises, Wilton Tools also manufactures entire metalworking machinery lines, including drill presses and bandsaws. In 2014, the company was acquired by JPW Industries, where it continues to grow and outperform its competition with innovative products and exceptional service.

Powermatic

Powermatic really made some significant shifts in its business, from starting as a corn milling operation in McMinnville, TN, to today's 400,000 square foot production facility in LaVergne, Tennessee. Over the years, the company pioneered the market by introducing revolutionary tools, such as sanding machines, drill presses, the Tilting Arbor Table Saws, and later on, woodworking lathes.

The company took progressively larger facilities to accommodate its increased production. In 1958, Powermatic became internationally recognized as the forefront of the woodworking machinery manufacturing company. It was purchased by JPW Industries in 2014, along with its sister brands.

Edwards Manufacturing

Established in 1875, Edwards Manufacturing entered the market with its Open Ditcher, a product made to drain the swampland. The company branched out into a wide variety of manufactured products, including Road Graders, farming equipment, manual shears, and metal culvers.

Today, nearly 150 years from its founding, Edwards Manufacturing is primarily driven by the production of Ironworkers. The company's JAWS line of Edwards Ironworkers has been recently expanded with its ELITE line, offering high-quality design and a host of integrated features. In addition to the Ironworkers line, the company also offers hydraulic accessory tools.

Baileigh Industrial

For more than two decades, Baileigh Industrial has offered exclusively manufactured metalworking and woodworking machinery, trusted by both large-scale commercial fabrication companies, to everyday hobbyists.  Each Baileigh Industrial machine is designed to exact standards of endurance, convenience, and accuracy, which is further expanded through continuous innovation.

The company uses high-quality parts and components, like Siemens controllers and Delta soft-starts and inverters, to build reliable and long-lasting equipment. On the structural side of things, however, all Baileigh Industrial machines' frameworks are made of solid steel castings, making them incredibly durable and sturdy.

Axiom Precision

Axiom Tool Group manufactures world-class machines for nearly any CNC (Computerized Numerical Control) application. Axiom's machines offer precision, speed, accuracy, and above everything else, ease of use for the end-users. Each machine is built from the ground up, similar to massive industrial equipment, yet they're reasonably compact to fit any store.

Everything is thoughtfully designed, rigorously tested, and comes with a full range of accessories. The best part of Axiom Precision's machines is the fact that they don't require complex or expensive software to operate — the pendant controller that comes with nearly all machines is intuitive and really straightforward to use.
