Reid Supply offers disc and cylindrical magnets primarily in Neodymium, Alnico and Ceramic models. Neodymium magnets are powerful, yet compact. Alnico magnets are ideal for high heat applications and cermanic magnets are generally the most economical. Applications are abundant: fixtures, jigs, panel mounts, end of retrieving tools, catches/latches, linear actuators, sensing, gyroscopes, flow meters, pacemakers, etc.

For a low-cost easy-to-install solution, our rubber socket door holders consist of two parts – a male knob and a female socket – one side mounted to a wall and the other to the door. Opening the door and pushing the two mating parts together will hold the door open. We also carry steel and stainless door holders that will hold the door open at a specific angle and prevent it from opening too far.

Dovetail slides typically have a larger contact area as compared to other sliding assemblies, providing a high stiffness and load bearing capacity. The dovetail interconnects the saddle and base and guides the travel of the saddle. Dovetail slides can be preloaded with the gib adjustment for increased friction. Applications include automation, shuttle devices, fixtures, work holding and press loading

Pull Dowel Removers-Setters work in conjunction with puller studs for removing and setting any pull dowel. An upward motion with the slide handle will remove a dowel while a downward motion is used to set the dowel.

These pressure release latches provide venting in the event of internal explosion and maintain a seal in order to prevent loss of heat and/or escape of gasses under normal conditions. Latches have an adjustable strike and the release force is adjustable.

6061-T6511 extruded is the most versatile of the heat treatable aluminum alloys. It has most of the good qualities of aluminum, and it offers a wide range of mechanical properties and corrosion resistance. It can be fabricated by many of the commonly used techniques. Length tolerances are ±1".
