We stock a full assortment of accessories to support your hoisting and rigging applications. When working with wire rope or cable, you will want a handy supply of wire rope clamps, clips, thimbles, and turnbuckles. For applications using chain, we offer a variety of safety shackles and screw-pin shackles; connecting links and connecting couplings; and clevis-type grab hooks and slip hooks. While transporting heavy loads, our line of tie-down winches, winch bars, and D-rings will help secure your contents and protect them from damage due to shifting while in transit.
Wire rope clamps, also called cable clamps or U-bolt clips, are used to fix the loose end of a wire rope after it has been looped to form an eye. These clamps consist of a U-shaped bolt and a saddle with two nuts. Two layers of wire rope are placed inside the U-bolt and two or three clamps are required to properly secure the looped end to the rope.
Wire rope thimbles protect the eye or loop of wire rope assemblies from abrasion and deformation. They provide a solid barrier and sturdy structure to withstand damage to the cable strands from other rigging fittings.
Turnbuckles are commonly used in rigging to apply tension and reduce slack in lengths of rope or cable. Our selection of carbon steel and stainless steel turnbuckles includes jaw-and-jaw, eye-and-eye, and hook-and-eye configurations.
A shackle is a U-shaped piece of metal secured with a clevis pin or bolt across the opening. They are used to make connections to slings, rope, cable, etc. Shackles are the primary connecting link in all manner of rigging systems as they allow different rigging subsets to be connected or disconnected quickly.
Rigging hooks are attached to chains, ropes, and slings to lift and move large loads.
D-ring tie downs are used on flatbed truck and trailers to help stabilize loads and prevent damage to cargo from shifting while in transit.
Bevel washers are used with eye bolts to correct taper when used on I-beams and other structural applications.
Winch bars are used with cargo winches which are securing devices fastened to the base of a flatbed truck or trailer. Acting as a hand lever, they adjust the tension of winches and winch straps to stabilize loads and prevent damage from shifting while in transit. These winch bars can be used with portable bolt-on winches and permanent weld-on winches.
Cargo winches are securing devices fastened to the base of a flatbed truck or trailer. Used with winch straps, they stabilize loads and prevent damage from shifting while in transit. The winch is used to pull the strap tight until there is enough tension to secure the load. We offer portable bolt-on winches and permanent weld-on winches.
