Cup & Hook Magnets are low profile magnets that are ideal for holding steel doors, hanging signs and lights, mounting antennas, retrieving steel items from tanks, vats, bins and lakes, holding traps in place and many other industrial uses.

Cylindrical Electromagnets use a controlled electrical current to control the strength of the magnetic field. These plug-in electromagnets have controlled holding power and on command release.

Reid Supply offers disc and cylindrical magnets primarily in Neodymium, Alnico and Ceramic models. Neodymium magnets are powerful, yet compact. Alnico magnets are ideal for high heat applications and cermanic magnets are generally the most economical. Applications are abundant: fixtures, jigs, panel mounts, end of retrieving tools, catches/latches, linear actuators, sensing, gyroscopes, flow meters, pacemakers, etc.

These plates are grooved to be able to hold round parts as well. The plates are also notched for holding parts above base of vise. Smooth on back side. They are accurately machined, hardened and ground. Constructed of plates or channels with magnets sandwiched in between. Ideal for holding heavy parts. Effective holding against shear force.

Magnetic Welding Squares are ideal for welders that need fast set-up and accurate holding of steel sheet stock, plate, and tubing. Welding Squares are equipped with through holes for easy mounting.

Tungsten carbide balls are used where extreme hardness and wear resistance is required. Used for applications such as bearings, ball screws, valves, coining, pivots, detents, and tips for gauges and tracers. Can also be used for ballizing, gauging, and checking.
