Jergens tooling company specializes in fixturing and workholding equipment as well as hoisting fixtures and quick lock pins for rigging and other applications. Reid Supply carries fixture keys, locating pins, and tooling balls as part of our catalog of Jergens products. These precise instruments ensure workpiece stability while offering production scalability capacity.
Jergens is known for providing quick-change fasteners, pins, and liners for efficient workflows. From knobs, pins, keys, and clamp assemblies, Jergens manufactures leading threaded spring plungers and quick release pins that make assembly and workholding more efficient.
Jergens also makes custom solutions for rest pads and buttons as well as feet to hold components flat and steady on a worksurface. From stationary to dynamic pieces, Jergens is a leading producer of reliable bulk components for machining and assembly.
Jergens’ keys, pins, and other fixture apparatuses are made from durable steel and components interacting with hands or delicate materials commonly contain plastic knobs, tips, and pads to ensure proper grip and precision alignment.
Industrial-strength bar knobs can be tightened by hand and further secured by inserting a bar between the four prongs for leverage in heavy clamping applications.
These bar knobs are constructed of malleable iron and available in blank, reamed, or tapped styles. They are ideally used in areas where high pressure is needed and a lever or other clamping device doesn’t fit.
We carry bar knobs in 3/4 inch and 7/8 inch sizes. Find out if bar knobs are right for your application by reading about other knob materials and applications in our knowledge center.
Cam Machine Strap Clamp Assemblies have a spring loaded stud and cam lever for quick action and high holding pressure. Plain Grip Machine Strap Clamps reach over the work piece and hold it in place for maximum pressure. These clamps are available machined from solid bar stock or tempered steel with a varnished finish.
Crank handles are designed for applications that involve frequent adjustments. Click the links to find our offer of fixed crank handles, revolving crank handles, folding crank handles styles to fit your handwheel.
Reid Supply provides you with the full range of industrial and machine crank handles.
From metal, steel and plastic, choose the right material and thread size in both metric and inch.

Fixture jacks are a positive locking jack for irregular clamping to achieve various heights requiring a positive pressure stop. They are adjustable to fit height irregularities of milling operations.
Fixture keys are used to locate jigs and fixtures on slotted machine tool tables and position the part to be machined in one operation. Our selection of fixture keys includes block keys and sine keys.
Flange Nut Machine Strap Clamp Asseblies have a spring loaded stud and cam lever for quick action and high holding pressure. These assemblies are ideal for holding plain surface work where quick movements are required in a restricted space.
Plastic Control Hand Wheels with Handles provide a leveraging hand hold even when the machine operator is wearing gloves. The plastic material is durable and resists solvents, oils, grease, and other chemicals.
For metal hand wheels, the most popular are cast iron handwheels for high strength solutions while providing a sturdy hand hold during adjustment. Other materials we carry are: Aluminum, Stainless Steel and Steel.
At Reid Supply we carry the types of handwheels for your application, from two spoke to six spoke wheels, solid and safety clutch variations that work with crank handles, position indicators, levers and knobs.

Hook Clamp Assemblies are ideal for use on jig and fixture quick build systems to generate holding power in close quarters with direct downward clamping force. The hook clamp easily swings out of the way for unloading once released.
Sometimes referred to as fluted knobs, lobed knobs with 10 lobes bridge a valuable gap between lobed knobs and knurled knobs by bringing wider grips than a typical knurled knob, while increasing the number of lobes over much wider gaps in knobs with fewer lobes.
They are ideal in setups where a "soft" grip is desired for hand cranking on equipment or workpieces.
Not sure whether a knob or handle is appropriate for your setup?

Locating pins are used for controlled, tight tolerances to increase accuracy in positioning workpieces on fixtures. Typically, two pins are needed to properly align the workpiece. We offer round pins that provide precise location in all directions, as well as relieved or diamond pins that provide clearance with less contact to prevent binding during loading and unloading. These can be used in many different applications including clamping tables, fixture plates, v-blocks and other common shop tools.
The most common types of fixture locating pins are: threaded locating pins, diamond locating pins, with bullet nose and pin liners.
Quick change fixture mounting systems provide fast installation with precise location to help reduce setup and changeover times. We offer quick change liners, bushings, shanks, and repair kits.
Quick Release Pins are used in applications where a positive stop is desired. The shoulder prevents the pin from being inserted all the way to the handle. Pins will not release until the button is pushed, causing the balls at the end of the pin to retract for insertion and removal of the pin.
Screws are threaded fasteners used to join two or more objects or hold an object in position. We offer a diverse line of screws with imperial or metric threads. Our assortment of cap screws includes standard head, button head, flat head, flange head, and more. We also stock a large selection of captive screws, set screws, shoulder screws, thumb screws, and wing screws.
Spring stops, also referred to as spring stop buttons, are light fixturing components used to hold a work piece against a locating surface prior to clamping. They consist of a flanged mounting body and a spring-loaded plunger. Also known as spring loaded stops, these tooling components work well with Spring Plungers and Jig and Fixtures.
Choose between Rectangular, Slot Holes, and Triangular base styles for the best spring stops
Used for locating, positioning, indexing and securing. Our Index Plungers allow for rapid adjustments on a variety of platforms, fixtures and tables.Suitable for gym equipment, medical aids, catering equipment, conveyors etc.Comes with Threaded and No Thread Locking Element
C-Washers can be used to distribute the load of a fastener and help prevent damage to the object being fastened.Dished washers are similar to spherical washers, but instead are designed for elongated holes. They are punched, gauged and tempered.Ideal for applications where there is an uneven surface. Offered as pairs or individual male and female pieces.Ball Head Position Adjusters allow exact positioning when assembling sloping bases up to approximately four degrees angle of inclination. A second ball head position adjuster is recommended as a base in sloped positions. They are one-piece constructed.Bonded WashersMetal flat washers are available in mild or stainless steel. They provide full insulation, cushioning and spacing.Designed for applications involving low loads and require high deflection. Available in plain, metal, or zinc plated finishes.Commonly used as a take up spring for a wide range of load bearing applications. Provide greater load bearing capacity than single wave washers with some loss in deflection capability.Snubbing Washers are used with bonded mounts to provide multi-directional vibration isolation, shock attenuation, and noise reduction. When used together, these fail safe mounts and washers are easy to install and provide consistent performance."
